Our WOW Classes have a maximum of six women+. We provide a safe and supportive space as part of our goal to BUILD STRENGTH AND COMMUNITY!
The benefits of lifting for Women+ are far-reaching and numerous. Our WOW Classes are based on the best available evidence for resistance training specifically for Women+.
We know that aerobic activity is important but our focus is lifting. Our WOW Classes focus on the exercise adaptations associated with Resistance Training - Muscle Strength, Hypertrophy, Power, and Endurance.
If you like to be motivated in a small group led by a Barbelle Instructor, the Workout of the Week (WOW) is a great way to achieve your strength goals, workout with other members, and access an affordable training option.
Classes include resistance exercises that target muscle strength, endurance, hypertrophy, and power. Classes are designed to work for beginners to experienced lifters, with exercise parameters like load and intensity tailored to your level to ensure safe and effective lifting.
Every class in a given week is the same workout, so you can choose the timing that best suits your schedule.
To participate in our WOW Classes we strongly recommend you do a Lifting Assessment & Plan. If you’re keen to Get Started, you can Book Your WOW Class and we can set up your assessment at a later date.
